Eat here, it’s tasty French/Italian. We had a reservation and were able to adjust at last minute, very accommodating.
Given a choice of seating when we arrived and one of us sat in comfy seat, the other on less comfortable slatted seat.
We had a lovely bottle of chilled rose with our meal. Solid glassware ✅
Starters were delicious-we had gazpacho and goats cheese with olive oiled olives accompanied with fresh bread.
Mains were salmon/herbs/shells of pasta in cream sauce; very tasty. Also ham, onion, and perfectly cooked courgette with grated compte in cream sauce-pleasant but large portion.
Deserts were clafoutis with apricot and chocolate pie with orange confiture both with vanilla custard. Perfecto!
Presentation of all dishes was careful and thoughtful, a chef who cared for each meal 👨🍳⭐️
Finished meal with espresso and thyme liqueur-both were strong :)
Our waiter seemed a bit offish to start but was great as the evening went along, helping especially with his English language that answered any queries we had.
The ambience was chilled, even heard The Smiths on background music.
Place was medium busy and toilets were clean and on ground level.
It was strange to see the front window with adverts for particular specials stuck up with sellotape, seemed cheap compared with quality of food.

Les pâtes sont excellentes surtout la recette au canard et aux champignons.
Les produits sont frais et en majorité bio. Nous venons depuis des années et nous sommes jamais déçu.
Endroit bruyant et la proximité des autres tables peuvent déranger mais l'accueil et la gourmandise vous feront revenir quand même. Dommage qu'il n'y ai plus le pétillant de raisin !
